Roshni Shakeel Escapes Abductors, Fights for Justice

In a courageous act of bravery, a 13-year-old Christian girl from Multan managed to escape from her abductors and reunite with her family after being forced into marriage with a 28-year-old man. The young girl, Roshni Shakeel, faced unimaginable challenges but did not lose hope in seeking justice.

Roshni's ordeal began when she was forcibly taken from her home by Muazzam Mazhar and his associates. Despite enduring torture and coercion to sign false documents, Roshni's father, Shakeel Masih, took legal action to secure her release. However, Roshni was manipulated into making misleading statements in favor of her abductors out of fear for her family's safety.

After a daring escape, Roshni bravely approached the court on May 23, 2024, to fight for justice. She challenged the fake marriage certificate presented by her abductor and invoked Article 22-A for protection. Despite her young age, Roshni's determination and confidence in seeking justice serve as an inspiration to all.
