Islamabad: The daughter of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Mehrbano Qureshi, expressed confidence that both her father and PTI founder Imran Khan will soon be acquitted due to lack of evidence. Mehrbano Qureshi made these remarks during a media briefing before visiting her father at Adiala Jail. She mentioned that the appeal against the cypher sentences is set for a hearing on April 16, and she hopes that the prosecution will not delay the process any further.
Accompanied by Shah Mehmood Qureshi's wife Mehreen Qureshi, daughter Meherbano Qureshi, and Gohar Bano Qureshi, the family met with Shah Mehmood Qureshi during a one-hour visit at Adiala Jail.
