The inauguration of a Vocational Training Centre in Karachi by Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah aims to empower individuals with disabilities through tailored vocational training programs, fostering inclusivity and skill development.

Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah recently inaugurated a Vocational Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities in Karachi. The center aims to provide vocational training opportunities for individuals with disabilities, empowering them to gain valuable skills for employment.

The inauguration ceremony was well-attended by provincial officials, community leaders, and representatives from NGOs dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. The center has already enrolled 240 individuals, with a special focus on empowering 120 girls through various vocational training programs.

Currently, the students are undergoing training in different fields, including Computer Science, Tailoring, Beautification, and mobile Repair. This initiative is a significant step towards creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities to enhance their skills and contribute meaningfully to society.

Impressed by the initiative, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah instructed the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities to ensure the efficient operation of the center. He also pledged to provide additional resources and equipment to further enhance the training opportunities for individuals with disabilities.

The establishment of the Vocational Training Centre for Persons with Disabilities in Karachi reflects a commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.
