Sukkur Police Conducts Flag March for Muharram Security

Sukkur Police recently organized a flag march in the city to maintain law and order during the holy month of Muharram-ul-Harram. The march, under the supervision of Assistant Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sukkur, Muhammad Usman Khan, commenced from the city bypass and traversed key routes such as Shikarpur road, Bander road, Station Road, Minara Road, and Station Road before concluding at its starting point.

The flag march comprised police commandos and saw the participation of Sub Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs), Station House Officers (SHOs), additional forces from Police Line, and motorcycle squads. To ensure the safety and security of the citizens, more than 500 armed policemen will be deployed across Sukkur city throughout Muharram-ul-Harram.

The proactive measures taken by Sukkur Police, including the flag march and increased police presence, demonstrate their commitment to upholding peace and order during Muharram-ul-Harram. By prioritizing public safety, the authorities aim to create a secure environment for all residents and visitors during this significant religious period.
