Three Lives Lost in Udaipur Food Poisoning Tragedy

In a heartbreaking turn of events, three individuals lost their lives in Rajasthan's Udaipur district due to food poisoning following an engagement ceremony in Kotda tehsil. The incident unfolded after a gathering of approximately 100 guests, where many attendees fell ill shortly after the event.

The victims of this unfortunate incident were identified as Babu (50) from the bride's side, along with Masru (40) and Amiya Devi (35) from the groom's side. Authorities have confirmed that the cause of death was directly linked to the consumption of contaminated food. Currently, 22 individuals are undergoing medical treatment at the hospital for symptoms of food poisoning.

Chief Medical and Health Officer Shankar Bamniya in Udaipur has launched a thorough investigation into the matter. Food samples have been carefully collected by the food safety officer and sent for testing to pinpoint the exact source of contamination. Once the test results are available, appropriate measures will be taken based on the findings to prevent such incidents in the future.
