CCPO Lahore Directs Prompt Handling of Pending Cases

The Chief Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) of Lahore, Bilal Siddique Kamyana, has issued a directive to ensure the prompt submission of challans and efficient management of pending cases. This decision came during a crucial meeting with senior police officials at his office. The focus of the meeting was on addressing drug-related cases under investigation and ensuring the timely submission of objectionable challans. CCPO Lahore stressed the significance of enhancing coordination between divisional SPs and the prosecution department to streamline the legal process.

CCPO Lahore personally monitors pending cases on a daily basis and will regularly assess reports from the SPs to track progress. The directive also highlighted a zero-tolerance policy towards the registration of false cases. It was emphasized that cases must be registered promptly, investigated thoroughly, and challans completed within the stipulated time frame.
