In recent developments, the Federal Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal, has raised concerns over the spread of false information regarding Pakistan-China relations. He accused a political party of attempting to undermine the strong bond between the two countries through trolling and harassment tactics.

Iqbal emphasized the importance of maintaining the integrity of diplomatic relations and policies, stating that no political party, including Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), will be allowed to distort the state's foreign affairs.

Despite differences between the government and opposition, Iqbal highlighted the significant progress in Pakistan-China relations, particularly in the space sector and projects like the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC). He clarified that policy decisions are the result of government negotiations and not influenced by random articles.

The minister dismissed claims of deteriorating relations with China, citing recent engagements that have strengthened ties, including the Chinese President's commitment to deepening strategic relations with Pakistan.

Additionally, the government's spokesperson on legal affairs cautioned against anti-state campaigns on social media, urging constructive dialogue with the PTI to safeguard the nation's interests internationally.
