Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal highlights the crucial role of engineers at UET Narowal Campus Science Mela 2024, emphasizing innovation and collaboration for addressing Pakistan's challenges.

At the ongoing 'Science Mela 2024' held at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) Narowal Campus, Federal Minister for Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives Prof. Ahsan Iqbal highlighted the crucial contribution of engineers to the advancement of the modern world. He expressed that the solutions to various life sectors such as health, food, and industry are intricately linked to the field of engineering.

Students from diverse departments showcased their final year projects at the Innovation Center, covering areas like electrical, mechanical, civil, bio-medical engineering, and computer engineering. Participants from universities including Agriculture University Faisalabad, UMT Sialkot Campus, ITU University of Narowal, and Veterinary University Narowal Campus also presented their projects at the science fair.

Minister Iqbal handed over new buses to the UET Narowal Campus administration and planted a sapling on the premises. He stressed the importance of continuous learning for establishing a strong foothold in the realms of education and research. The minister underscored the significance of innovation, mentioning the establishment of departments like the National Center for Satellite Technology, National Center for Nanotechnology, and National Center for Quantum Computing.

Addressing the audience, Minister Iqbal urged the youth to focus on innovation and creativity, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to tackle Pakistan's challenges. He envisioned the UET Narowal Campus as a hub for fostering innovation in the country, aiming to nurture future tech leaders. The minister concluded by highlighting the necessity of unity and teamwork for national success in the contemporary era.
