On the occasion of International Labour Day, Chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, reiterated the party's founding principle of 'Roti, Kapra Aur Makaan' with a strong belief that Pakistan's prosperity is intricately linked to the well-being and respect of its labor force.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid tribute to the martyrs of Chicago and lauded the efforts of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in championing labor rights through the country's first-ever Labour Policy in 1972. He also highlighted the contributions of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto in restoring trade union rights for workers during her tenure as Prime Minister.
