Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Urges PTI for Parliamentary Cooperation

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to foster a spirit of cooperation rather than resorting to aggressive attacks on opponents during assembly sessions. Speaking at an Iftar event in Larkana district, Bilawal emphasized the importance of parliamentary unity to achieve national reconciliation, a Charter of Economy, and judicial reforms.

Bilawal expressed disappointment over the prevalence of mudslinging and personal attacks in parliament, stressing that lawmakers are elected to represent the people and address the country's challenges collaboratively. He highlighted the need for politicians to work within their boundaries and uphold their responsibilities towards the electorate.

Emphasizing the significance of political dialogue, Bilawal underscored that the electorate's mandate in the recent general election signaled a call for political parties to prioritize cooperation over conflict. He urged PPP members in the National Assembly and provincial assemblies to remain connected with their constituents and prioritize public service.

Furthermore, Bilawal announced plans for a public gathering in Garhi Khuda Bukhsh on April 14 to commemorate the 45th death anniversary of PPP's founder, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto. He also mentioned the postponement of a scheduled public meeting on April 4 due to the observance of Ramazan.
