Chief Minister Gandapur Chairs Meeting on Development Projects

An important meeting led by Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Ali Amin Khan Gandapur was convened to deliberate on the draft Annual Development Program for the fiscal year 2024-25. The primary focus of the meeting was to review proposed projects in the Irrigation, Public Health Engineering, and Road Sectors for potential inclusion in the upcoming ADP.

The gathering was attended by Provincial Ministers and senior officials from relevant departments. Detailed presentations were given on both ongoing and new projects earmarked for the ADP 2024-25. Chief Minister Gandapur stressed the importance of prioritizing projects nearing completion in the allocation of developmental funds and cautioned against suggesting projects with unrealistic timelines.

Policy guidelines were issued to ensure the timely and quality completion of projects. The Chief Minister specifically directed the Public Health Engineering Department to suggest water filtration plants to ensure access to clean drinking water, particularly in southern districts. Stringent measures were advised against individuals involved in the unauthorized sale of government tubewell water.

All departments were instructed to bolster their monitoring capabilities to effectively supervise developmental schemes. Emphasis was placed on adequate funding allocation for ADP projects to facilitate their timely execution.

The meeting chaired by Chief Minister Gandapur underscored the commitment of the KP government to prioritize development projects that benefit the citizens. By focusing on efficient project management and quality delivery, the government aims to enhance the overall infrastructure and public services in the region.
