A special meeting was convened at the Regional Police Office in DG Khan under the chairmanship of the Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) to address the prevailing law and order situation. The meeting focused on security measures in the tri-border areas of Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan, targeting operations, smuggling activities, and actions against criminal gangs. Particularly highlighted was the recent terrorist attack on Check Post Hazrat Farooq (Jhangi).

The discussions included detailed briefings on enhancing security measures, strengthening check posts, and intensifying efforts against criminal elements. The Home Secretary of Punjab commended the police force for their vigilance in thwarting terrorist attacks and their courageous stance against such threats. Additionally, there were talks about potential amendments to laws concerning child rape and honor killings, emphasizing the government's commitment to ensuring peace and eradicating organized crime in the Katcha region.
