Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Food and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Zahir Shah Toru highlighted the provincial government's commitment to welfare projects under Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur's leadership. Emphasizing alignment with Prime Minister Imran Khan's vision, Toru mentioned the restoration of health cards and the distribution of billions in cash assistance to the needy during Ramazan.

During Eid-ul-Fitr celebrations at his residence, Toru engaged with local elders, party members, and the media. He underscored Mardan's significance as the province's second-largest city, affirming its development as a top priority. Toru assured the allocation of funds for the timely completion of ongoing projects at DHQ Hospital and Benazir Children Hospital in Mardan, aiming for a June deadline.

Discussing security concerns, Toru disclosed a meeting with Corps Commander Peshawar to address provincial security dynamics. He stressed the government's responsibility to collaborate with security agencies for public safety measures.

Regarding price control and inflation prevention during Ramazan, Toru commended the Food Department and administrative officers for efforts in ensuring affordable food items across the province. His direct oversight of these initiatives yielded positive outcomes, benefiting the populace.
