Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry Reveals Post-Election Insights

The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, recently disclosed some significant statistics regarding the February 8 general elections in Pakistan. According to him, only 7.5% of the population voted for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, despite a voter turnout of approximately 47%, resulting in 65 million votes being cast. In response, some PTI leaders condemned these attacks and opted to take breaks from their political engagements. The army's spokesperson emphasized the need for the perpetrators of the May 9 incidents to be punished in accordance with the Constitution and the law.
