The Director General Inter-Services Public Relations, Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, recently disclosed some significant statistics regarding the February 8 general elections in Pakistan. According to him, only 7.5% of the population voted for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party, despite a voter turnout of approximately 47%, resulting in 65 million votes being cast. This indicates that a vast majority, 92% of the population, did not align with PTI's ideology.
