Former PML-N leader Miftah Ismail announces the launch of 'Awam Pakistan' political party with a focus on empowering citizens and engaging with a diverse range of political figures in Pakistan.

Former finance minister and disenchanted PML-N leader, Miftah Ismail, has announced plans to establish a new political party named 'Awam Pakistan' next month. The party's official unveiling is scheduled for July 6 in Islamabad, with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi as one of its conveners.

The primary objective behind the formation of Awam Pakistan, as highlighted by Ismail, is to drive systemic change by empowering individuals to make their own decisions and pursue their goals freely. The party aims to connect with political figures across the country and directly engage with the public to convey its message.

Expected to join the ranks of Awam Pakistan are prominent figures such as Sardar Mehtab Abbasi, Javaid Abbasi, Zaeem Qadri, and Dr. Zafar Mirza. Additionally, Sheikh Salahuddin, Rana Zahid Tofiq, Zahid Banoori, and Anwar Somro are also set to be affiliated with the new political entity.

Both Miftah Ismail and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have long been associated with PML-N, led by Nawaz Sharif. However, internal discord emerged following the appointment of Maryam Nawaz to key positions within the party.

The emergence of 'Awam Pakistan' under the leadership of Miftah Ismail and Shahid Khaqan Abbasi marks a significant development in Pakistan's political landscape. With a focus on empowering citizens and fostering direct communication with the public, the new party aims to bring about meaningful change and engage with a diverse range of political figures nationwide.
