The recent protest movement in Pakistan led by the opposition alliance against the ruling PML-N government has sparked political turmoil. With shifting alliances, accusations, and legal interventions, the country's governance faces challenges.

The political landscape in Pakistan has been stirred up by the recent protest movement initiated by the six-party opposition alliance against the ruling PML-N-led government. The movement gained momentum as KP Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur advocated for PTI to leverage the experience of JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman. CM Gandapur stressed the importance of transparency in Maulana Fazlur Rehman's assertions regarding regime change, which initially implicated the PDM in ousting former PM Imran Khan but later shifted blame to ex-army chief Gen (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa.

Following the disputed February 8 general elections, PTI and JUI-F reached a consensus on the alleged rigging of the polls. Maulana Fazlur Rehman surprisingly extended support to PTI, urging the PML-N-led government to uphold PTI's constitutional rights. However, the JUI-F chief later accused former military officials of engineering a no-confidence move against Khan, only to retract the allegations subsequently.

CM Gandapur lauded Khan as innocent and unjustly imprisoned, while issuing a stern warning that those impeding PTI's progress would face consequences. The Supreme Court's intervention in suspending the Peshawar High Court's ruling on reserved seats further added complexity to the political scenario. CM Gandapur optimistically predicted that PTI would secure more than 77 seats nationwide following the apex court's decision.

In conclusion, the ongoing political turmoil in Pakistan underscores the intricate dynamics between the ruling party and the opposition factions. The shifting alliances, accusations, and legal interventions have created a volatile environment, with implications for the country's governance and stability.
