The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) emphasized the government's obligation to resolve the challenges faced by farmers during a recent event at the National Press Club. PPP Parliamentarians Secretary General Syed Nayar Hussain Bukhari highlighted the party's historical commitment to advocating for workers' rights, drawing inspiration from the legacy of PPP's founding leader, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

Bukhari underscored the critical role of farmers in ensuring food security, emphasizing that the Punjab government must prioritize addressing agricultural concerns to prevent future food shortages. He warned that failure to address farmers' issues could have severe consequences for the country's economy.

Expressing strong criticism of the National Accountability Bureau (NAB), Bukhari accused the institution of engaging in politically motivated actions against PPP leadership.
