The Speaker of the National Assembly appoints a panel of chairpersons to oversee proceedings in the absence of key officeholders, emphasizing the importance of parliamentary procedures and continuity in legislative activities.

The Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has appointed a six-member panel of chairpersons to oversee the proceedings of the House in the absence of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker. This decision was made in accordance with sub-rule one of Rule 13 of the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in the National Assembly.

The appointed panel members are Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, Syed Naveed Qamar, Sheikh Aftab Ahmed, Syeda Shehla Raza, Syed Amin ul Haque, and Sher Ali Arbab. These individuals will be responsible for conducting the proceedings of the Lower House of Parliament whenever the Speaker and Deputy Speaker are not available.
