Security Forces Eliminate Eleven Terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Operations

Security forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province have successfully carried out two separate operations resulting in the elimination of at least eleven terrorists. The operations, conducted on April 21-22, targeted areas in Dera Ismail Khan and North Waziristan districts.

In Dera Ismail Khan, an intelligence-based operation was launched following reports of terrorist presence. After a fierce exchange of fire, ten terrorists were neutralized by the security forces. Meanwhile, in North Waziristan, Army troops engaged a group of terrorists effectively, resulting in the elimination of one more terrorist.

The terrorists were known to be involved in various criminal activities against both security forces and civilians in the region. Following the operations, arms and ammunition were recovered from the sites.

Local residents have expressed their appreciation for the Security Forces' efforts in combating terrorism and ensuring the safety of the community. The ISPR highlighted the determination of the Security Forces to eradicate the threat of terrorism in the country.
