Minister Qasim Ali Shah Enhances Healthcare Services in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

In a recent development, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health, Syed Qasim Ali Shah, has taken a significant step towards enhancing healthcare services in the region. During a ceremony attended by various health officials and UNICEF representatives, Minister Qasim Ali Shah handed over 100 motorcycles to Peshawar's vaccinators and provided three mobile workshops for cold chain maintenance, along with two dry logistic vehicles from UNICEF.

These vehicles are set to be distributed across the province's five divisions, aiming to bolster the cold chain supply system crucial for preserving vaccines' efficacy. Minister Qasim Ali Shah commended the health team's efforts and emphasized the importance of teamwork in achieving the government's healthcare objectives.

Despite challenges in eradicating the poliovirus, Minister Qasim Ali Shah highlighted the role of the allocated motorcycles in facilitating efficient healthcare delivery in Peshawar. Plans are underway to introduce mobile workshops at the district level to address healthcare challenges effectively.

Furthermore, Minister Qasim Ali Shah assured swift resolution of concerns regarding Integrated Health Program employees' salaries and pledged to dispatch emergency medicines to all districts to alleviate shortages. He also announced measures to improve efficiency within the health department by prohibiting dual charging and addressing non-performing individuals.
