Senate Debate Highlights Importance of Institutional Respect

Minister of Law and Parliamentary Affairs Azam Nazeer Tarar called for introspection rather than a clash of institutions and cautioned against the misuse of the judiciary's contempt power. Presiding Officer Senator Sherry Rehman acknowledged the gravity of the matter raised and directed further examination based on constitutional provisions and house rules.
