The recent incidents involving Pakistani students in the Kyrgyz Republic have prompted the Kyrgyz Embassy in Pakistan to be summoned to the Foreign Office for a crucial meeting. The Government of Pakistan has expressed serious concerns regarding the safety of Pakistani nationals in the Kyrgyz Republic and has urged the Kyrgyz government to take necessary measures to ensure their well-being.

Pakistan emphasized the importance of protecting its citizens globally and assured that all essential actions would be taken to safeguard their welfare. The Kyrgyz authorities have expressed regret over the violence against foreign nationals, including Pakistanis, in Bishkek and have committed to investigating and punishing those responsible for the incidents.

Amidst the ongoing situation, the Pakistani government has maintained close communication with Kyrgyz officials to guarantee the safety of its nationals, particularly those at risk following the recent mob riots. The Pakistani Embassy has established emergency helplines to aid affected students and families, while the Pakistani Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic has been actively engaging with Kyrgyz authorities to address the concerns.

Health officials in Kyrgyzstan have reported that four Pakistanis who were injured received medical treatment and have been discharged, while one individual is still under care for a jaw injury. Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar have instructed the Foreign Office to closely monitor the situation and provide full support to Pakistani nationals in need.
