Prince William and Kate Middleton's initial support for Prince Harry's Invictus Games contrasts with their absence at the upcoming 10th-anniversary service, raising doubts about reconciliation between the royal brothers.
Prince William and Kate Middleton played a significant role in supporting Prince Harry in establishing the Invictus Games, a charity venture that honors injured veterans. Royal commentator Michael Cole highlighted the early involvement of the Prince and Princess of Wales through their foundation in encouraging Harry during the inception of the successful sporting event in 2014.
Despite their initial support, it is noted that William and Kate will be noticeably absent from the upcoming St Paul’s Cathedral service commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games in London. The event, founded by Harry while he was still a member of the royal family, has seen invitations extended to senior royals, including King Charles and William, who are unlikely to attend due to their busy schedules and the ongoing health crisis.
Regarding the strained relationship between the brothers, Michael Cole expressed skepticism about the possibility of reconciliation, leaning towards the belief that the chances are slim to none.
