The Capital Development Authority (CDA) in Islamabad is currently overseeing multiple construction projects with tight deadlines to enhance the city's infrastructure. One of the key projects is the Blue Area Parking Plaza, which is set to be completed by the first week of June. This parking plaza will have multiple floors and shops, along with a restaurant and cafe on the rooftop, providing ample space for up to 1200 cars.

The Chairman of CDA has emphasized the importance of timely completion by setting a 20-day deadline for the ground floor shops. The allocation of shops on the first floor facing Jinnah Avenue will also follow a similar action/rental basis. In addition to the parking plaza, the Chairman inspected the expansion project on Jinnah Avenue, Blue Area F-9/G-9, which involves adding lanes on both sides over a 1.8-kilometer stretch, with an estimated cost of Rs 480 million.

Another crucial project under the CDA's supervision is the construction of the Islamabad Model Jail. The Chairman has stressed the need for swift completion within 100 days, focusing on the first phase that includes the boundary wall, barracks, admin block, and watchtower.

These projects signify the commitment of the CDA to enhance infrastructure in Islamabad, ensuring efficient facilities for residents and visitors alike. With strict deadlines in place, the city is set to witness significant improvements in its urban landscape in the coming months.
