The Central Jail Mirpurkhas has taken a significant step towards prisoner rehabilitation by partnering with the social organization Sarso. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed in the presence of Divisional Commissioner Mirpurkhas Faisal Ahmad Uqeli marks a milestone in prisoner empowerment efforts.

Divisional Commissioner Faisal Ahmad Uqeli emphasized the importance of providing prisoners with marketable skills to facilitate their reintegration into society post-release. Sarso, represented by Dr. Ghulam Rasool Samejo, has generously donated sewing machines worth Rs. 1.5 million to the jail, allowing inmates to enhance their tailoring abilities and produce garments for sale in Karachi.

The signing of the MoU signifies a crucial advancement in the rehabilitation and empowerment of inmates at Central Jail Mirpurkhas. Jail Superintendent Shahabuddin Siddiqui, Dr. Ghulam Rasool Samejo, and Maqsood Ahmed Kolachi from Sarso were present at the event, underscoring the commitment to transforming the lives of incarcerated individuals.
