FESCO Electrifies 82 Villages, Completes Projects Worth Rs233.638 Million

The Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has successfully finished multiple projects totaling Rs233.638 million in March 2024. Among these achievements, 82 villages were electrified last month, marking a significant milestone in enhancing the region's infrastructure.

Electrification of Villages

CEO of FESCO, Engineer Muhammad Amir, revealed that a substantial amount of Rs131.974 million was allocated for electrifying the 82 villages across eight districts. Notably, Faisalabad saw 27 villages being electrified with an expenditure of Rs47.977 million, followed by Jhang with 21 villages costing Rs32.973 million, Sargodha with 13 villages at Rs22.989 million, and Mianwali with 21 villages amounting to Rs28.035 million.

Completion of Proposals

Furthermore, FESCO invested Rs22.582 million in finalizing two HT proposals and successfully completed 70 LT proposals with an estimated cost of Rs79.082 million. The breakdown includes Rs25.298 million for 22 LT proposals in Faisalabad, Rs17.866 million for 14 LT proposals in Jhang, Rs22.883 million for 24 proposals in Sargodha, and Rs13.035 million for 10 LT proposals in Mianwali.
