FESCO Outsourcing Electricity Bill Distribution in Faisalabad

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has taken a significant step by deciding to outsource the distribution of electricity bills in 26 subdivisions within the second circle of Faisalabad. This move is aimed at ensuring that around 841,000 consumers in Nazim Abad, Ghulam Muhammad Abad, Sammundri, and Tandlianwala divisions receive their bills promptly.

This outsourcing initiative is part of a year-long pilot project. If successful, it will be extended to cover more areas in the region. FESCO has sought bids from reputable firms to manage the distribution process, with a key focus on improving customer service and operational efficiency.

As part of this program, Nazim Abad division will handle bill distribution for 242,000 consumers spread across eight subdivisions. Ghulam Muhammad Abad division will serve 275,000 consumers in nine subdivisions. Similarly, Sammundri division will cater to 167,000 consumers, and Tandlianwala division will reach 157,000 consumers through the outsourced bill distribution service.

FESCO's decision to outsource electricity bill distribution in Faisalabad reflects a commitment to enhancing service delivery and efficiency for its vast consumer base. This move is expected to streamline the billing process and ensure timely bill delivery, benefiting a significant number of residents in the region.
