LCCI and AJK Ministry Foster Business Growth Collaboration

Recently, the Minister for Small Industries of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and the President of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) met to discuss enhancing collaboration between the two chambers for the advancement of business activities in the region. This meeting aimed to strengthen ties between the Lahore Chamber and the Azad Kashmir Chamber to boost business opportunities.

The President of LCCI highlighted the importance of this collaboration and noted that all banks in AJK are offering interest-free loans to small industries, thanks to the Ministry of Small Industries' support. Additionally, efforts by the ministry have led to the establishment of industrial areas in AJK, providing a conducive environment for business growth.

Moreover, a significant development in Azad Kashmir is the introduction of a five-year tax holiday, offering relief to both existing and new industries. This measure is expected to greatly benefit small and medium-sized industrialists in the region, encouraging further investment and growth.

On the empowerment front, the LCCI has taken initiatives to support women in business, including the creation of the Women Empowerment Lounge and the Women Entrepreneur Counter. These efforts aim to promote and empower women entrepreneurs, contributing to a more inclusive business environment.

The collaborative efforts between the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Azad Kashmir Chamber, along with supportive measures by the Ministry of Small Industries, are paving the way for enhanced business activities and economic growth in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
