LESCO achieves milestone by recovering Rs 7.81 million from deceased defaulters in Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, and Okara districts. Director Sarwar Mughal leads successful recovery campaign.

The Lahore Electric Supply Company (LESCO) has achieved a significant milestone by recovering more than Rs 7.81 million from 81 deceased defaulters in five districts - Lahore, Sheikhupura, Nankana Sahib, Kasur, and Okara - as part of its ongoing recovery campaign.

During the 225th day of the campaign, various Superintending Engineers (SEs) played a crucial role in collecting substantial amounts from defaulters in different circles. SE Nisar Sarwar managed to retrieve Rs 0.83 million from 12 defaulters in the Northern Circle, while SE Umar Bilal recovered Rs 0.71 million from 06 defaulters in the Eastern Circle. SEs in the Central, South, Nankana, Sheikhupura, Okara, and Kasur Circles also made noteworthy collections from defaulters.

Under the leadership of Director Sarwar Mughal, LESCO has successfully recovered a total of Rs 4.63 billion from 103,601 deceased defaulters over the 225-day period. Significant amounts were collected from defaulters in each circle, with the Eastern and Sheikhupura Circles witnessing the highest collections.

The diligent efforts of LESCO in recovering outstanding dues from deceased defaulters demonstrate the company's commitment to financial integrity and accountability. By successfully retrieving substantial amounts from defaulters across multiple districts, LESCO has not only strengthened its financial position but also ensured a fair distribution of electricity costs among all consumers.
