The Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education at LUMS hosts successful Practicum Showcase Conference, highlighting innovative projects and solutions in Pakistan's education sector.

The Syed Ahsan Ali and Syed Maratib Ali School of Education (SOE) at LUMS recently hosted its third Practicum Showcase Conference, where MPhil Education Leadership and Management students presented their capstone projects developed in collaboration with partner organizations. The event drew over 500 attendees, including faculty, students, senior administration from LUMS, representatives from partner organizations, and education sector experts.

Dr. Ali Cheema, Vice Chancellor of LUMS, praised the students' innovative projects, emphasizing the importance of combining knowledge and practical experience to transform Pakistan's education landscape. The conference showcased a diverse range of projects in pedagogy, inclusive education, leadership, educational technology, art education, community development, early childhood education, and vocational education.

Keynote speaker Richard Geary highlighted the vast opportunities in Pakistan for those willing to drive change, stressing the importance of creativity and determination. Dr. Tayyaba Tamim, Dean of SOE, underscored the significance of strategic industry partnerships in developing innovative solutions for the challenges in Pakistan's education sector.
