The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry is set to host the 16th All Pakistan Chambers Presidents’ Conference to address economic challenges and propose solutions for a more investor-friendly environment in Pakistan.

The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) is gearing up to host the 16th All Pakistan Chambers Presidents’ Conference starting on May 15. This conference is a platform designed to tackle the economic hurdles that the business community in Pakistan is currently facing.

RCCI President Saqib Rafiq and Group Leader Sohail Altaf have underscored the significance of this conference in shaping the business community's stance on the prevailing economic issues. They have emphasized the necessity of instilling confidence in both local and foreign investors, deliberating on budget proposals, economic indicators, and availing facilitation through the Special Investment Council.

The core aim of this conference is to gather insights and suggestions from key stakeholders within the business community and present them to the government for consideration. President Saqib Rafiq has lauded the role of the Special Investment Council (SIFC) in propelling economic advancement, while Group Leader Sohail Altaf has highlighted the importance of reestablishing trust among investors.

This gathering will unite chamber presidents from all provinces, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan, as well as women and small chambers. The agenda includes dialogues on the annual budget, currency devaluation, escalating production costs, energy prices, tax reforms, and the privatization of state-owned enterprises.

The conclusive joint declaration encapsulating the conference's outcomes is set to be released during the closing session on May 16.
