Mari Petroleum completes successful appraisal well drilling in Pakistan

Mari Petroleum Limited, a leading energy company, has recently achieved a significant milestone by completing the drilling of an appraisal well in the Ghazij Formation within the Mari Development and Production Lease located in Sindh, Pakistan. This accomplishment marks a crucial step in the company's ongoing appraisal program for the Ghazij discovery.

The drilling of the fourth appraisal well in the Ghazij Formation commenced on April 21, 2024, and successfully reached a depth of 1,006 meters. Following testing, the well demonstrated a post-acid gas flow rate of 5.0 MMSCFD with a WHFP of 363 Psi at a 128/64-inch choke size. Mari Petroleum Limited, which holds a 100% working interest in the Mari Development and Production Lease, is the Operator for this project.

The company has informed the Pakistan Stock Exchange about this achievement in compliance with the necessary regulations. Once all regulatory procedures are finalized, Mari Petroleum Limited plans to begin production from the well, further enhancing its operations in the region.
