The Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) made significant decisions in its 163rd board meeting to enhance industrial development in Punjab, focusing on projects, facilities, and growth.

The Punjab Industrial Estates Development and Management Company (PIEDMC) recently held its 163rd meeting of the Board of Directors, chaired by Javed Iqbal. During the meeting, several key decisions were made to further the industrial development in Punjab.

The board approved the sale plan of Bahawalpur Industrial Estate, finalized the design and cost of the main gates of Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, and reviewed the audited accounts for the years 2021 and 2022. Additionally, the terms of references for the working committees and the concept paper for Green Energy Initiatives were also approved.

Furthermore, the Board sanctioned the acquisition of a license from PTA to offer telecommunication services in Quaid-e-Azam Business Park, formed a special committee to secure land for a new grid station in Sunder Industrial Estate, and initiated the process to fill vacant statutory seats within the company.

Chairman Javed Iqbal emphasized the importance of expediting measures to boost industrial growth in Punjab. The focus remains on completing development projects promptly and providing comprehensive facilities to industrialists in a centralized manner.

The meeting was attended by board members and officers from various departments, reflecting a collaborative effort towards advancing industrial initiatives in the region.
