In Lahore, the price of broiler meat has dropped by 15 rupees per kilogram, bringing the current retail price to 580 rupees per kilogram. The wholesale rate for live broiler in Lahore now stands at 370 rupees per kilogram. Similarly, in Peshawar, the price of live broiler chicken has decreased by 30 rupees per kilogram, down to 420 rupees per kilogram from the previous 450 rupees per kilogram.

While broiler chicken prices are on a downward trend, egg prices have seen a slight increase, with the cost per dozen rising by 2 rupees to 239 rupees.
