Stena RoRo orders two new E-Flexer RoPax vessels from CMI Jinling shipyard for Attica Group, enhancing sustainability and efficiency in the Greek ferry industry.

Stena RoRo, a leading ship management company, has recently announced the order of two new E-Flexer RoPax vessels from CMI Jinling shipyard in China. These vessels are set to be delivered in 2027 and will be operated by the Greek shipping company Attica Group in the Adriatic Sea. This order adds to Stena RoRo's impressive E-Flexer series, bringing the total to fifteen vessels.

The E-Flexer series is known for its larger size and enhanced capabilities compared to traditional RoPax ferries. These vessels are designed to be flexible and customizable to meet the specific needs of customers. They incorporate advanced technologies for sustainability, performance, and cost-effectiveness, including multi-fuel engines that can run on various types of fuel and are designed to exceed environmental standards.

Attica Group's CEO, Panos Dikaios, emphasized the positive impact of these new vessels on the environment and the overall travel experience in the Greek ferry industry. Stena RoRo's CEO, Per Westling, highlighted the unique design and green features of the E-Flexer vessels tailored for Attica Group.

With a length of 240m, a draught of 6.4m, and a capacity for 1500 passengers and 3320 cargo meters of freight, the new E-Flexer vessels will offer a comfortable and efficient travel experience. They will feature 256 passenger cabins and operate at a speed of 24 knots, ensuring timely and reliable transportation.

The addition of these two E-Flexer vessels to Attica Group's fleet represents a significant step towards sustainable and efficient maritime transportation. With their cutting-edge design and eco-friendly features, these vessels are poised to make a positive impact on the Greek ferry industry and set new standards for environmental responsibility in the maritime sector.
