Adil Raja's Appeal Rejected in UK Court

Major (retd) Adil Raja, a YouTuber associated with the PTI, recently faced a setback in a UK court where his appeal to waive a £10,000 fine was rejected. The fine was originally imposed for defamation against Brigadier (retd) Rashid Nasir. Not only did the court uphold the initial fine, but it also added an extra £3,000 penalty on Raja.

The appeal was filed by Raja on April 16, 2024, just a day before the payment deadline. Despite his efforts, the court ruled against him, mandating the full payment of fines. In a bid to gather support, Raja launched a fundraiser on GoFundMe named “Fight Against Fascism,” which has already amassed over £45,000 in donations.
