Balochistan's Green Bus Proposal Rejected by Federal Government

The proposal to receive 100 green buses for Quetta city from the federal government, put forward by the caretaker government of Balochistan, has been declined. This plan aimed to enhance transportation facilities in Quetta, where currently only 18 buses operate under a public-private partnership, serving the route from Balochistan University to Baleli. Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti has reiterated the government's dedication to prioritizing mass transit buses in Quetta. The government aims to secure buses from the federal government, even if the full quota of 100 is not granted.
