Chancellor Jawaid Anwar announces salary scale revision

The Aligarh Institute of Technology (AIT) recently hosted an Eid Milan get-together, graced by esteemed guests including the Registrar of Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), Cdre. (r) Syed Sarfraz Ali, and Cdre. (r) Salim Siddiqui, among others. The event was attended by Deans, HODs, and a significant number of Aligs, emphasizing the importance of celebrating Eid in the spirit of unity and brotherhood.

Chancellor Jawaid Anwar of SSUET highlighted the significance of Eid-ul-Fitr, marking the end of the month-long fasting period as a symbol of reward for self-restraint. He emphasized the festive nature of Eid-ul-Fitr, which is celebrated with great enthusiasm, fostering a sense of joy and camaraderie among all participants.

Chancellor Jawaid Anwar underlined that Eid-ul-Fitr not only holds religious importance but also carries social significance, promoting values of forgiveness, charity, peace, and reconciliation. In a gesture of goodwill, he announced the approval of a salary scale revision for employees, acknowledging the challenges posed by the current economic downturn.

Convenor AIT, Engr. Muhammad Arshad Khan, lamented the diminishing tolerance in society and urged attendees to respect the legacy of their ancestors. He emphasized the importance of prioritizing organizational interests over personal agendas to maintain a harmonious environment.
