Chief Justice of Pakistan, Qazi Faez Isa, has raised the issue of revising the time period for filing appeals in the Supreme Court. During a hearing at the Supreme Court Karachi Registry regarding a plot ownership dispute, Chief Justice Faez Isa sought the input of senior lawyers on the appropriate appeal period for decisions made by High Courts.
