Court Dismisses Plea Against Former Commissioner Chatta

The Additional and District and Sessions Court in Rawalpindi recently made a decision regarding a plea to take legal action against former divisional commissioner Liaquat Chatta for alleged electoral misconduct during the general elections. The court dismissed the plea based on the findings of ongoing investigations conducted by the Election Commission and departmental authorities. He had also implicated senior officials like the Chief Election Commissioner and the Chief Justice.
