The Lahore session court orders a case against Maryam Nawaz for allegedly wearing a police uniform, emphasizing the importance of upholding the law and integrity of state institutions.

Lahore: The session court in Lahore has taken a significant step by seeking a response from police officials regarding a plea to register a case against Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz, for allegedly wearing a police uniform. The plea was presented before Additional Session Judge Muzaffar Nawaz Malik by advocate Aftab Bajwa.

The petition highlights that Maryam Nawaz was seen wearing a police official's uniform, which is a violation of the law prohibiting individuals from donning the uniforms of state institutions. Despite a previous plea submitted to the police regarding this matter, no action was taken against Maryam Nawaz.

As a result of the court proceedings, an order has been issued to register a case against Maryam Nawaz for wearing the police uniform. The court has set a deadline for officials to respond to this directive by April 29.

This development underscores the importance of upholding the law and ensuring that individuals, regardless of their position, are held accountable for any breaches of regulations. The court's decision to pursue legal action in this case sets a precedent for maintaining the integrity of state institutions and upholding the rule of law.
