An anti-encroachment drive in Hyderabad led by Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abideen Memon targeted illegal parking and congestion near the civil hospital. The operation involved issuing warnings and fines to rickshaw and taxi drivers, with support from market police and HMC officials to ensure smooth traffic flow and pedestrian safety.
An anti-encroachment drive was conducted in Hyderabad to address issues of illegal parking and congestion in key areas of the city. The operation, overseen by Deputy Commissioner Zain-ul-Abideen Memon and led by Assistant Commissioner Babar Saleh Rahpoto, focused on the civil hospital and liberty Chowk areas.
The primary goal of the drive was to remove illegally parked rickshaws outside the hospital's main gate and emergency gate. Traffic wardens took action by issuing challans to the rickshaw drivers and ensuring the vehicles were cleared from the restricted zones.
Moreover, an unauthorized taxi stand causing traffic congestion in front of the hospital's main gate was also addressed during the operation. Taxi drivers were warned and issued challans, emphasizing the consequences of continued obstruction of the road.
As part of the anti-encroachment initiative, small carts surrounding the hospital premises were also removed. The collaborative effort involved support from market police and officials from the Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (HMC) to ensure the operation's success. Anti-encroachment police were present to supervise the operation and maintain order.
