Two young girls, Asma and Hajra, courageously speak out against their father and uncles, shedding light on the urgent need to protect vulnerable individuals from abuse.

In a distressing turn of events, two young girls, Asma and Hajra, from Rohri Town in Sukkur, have come forward with harrowing accounts of sexual abuse and physical torture allegedly inflicted upon them by their own father and uncles. The girls, who had been living with their father following their parents' divorce, detailed a nightmare of five years filled with unspeakable horrors before managing to escape and reunite with their mother in Karachi.

During a recent court appearance, Asma and Hajra, visibly shaken by their traumatic experiences, bravely testified against their father, Ghulam Rasool, and uncles Mazhar Hussain, Noor Hussain, and Ghulam Sarwar. The girls pleaded for protection and justice, urging the judiciary to dismiss the false kidnapping charges their father had filed against their maternal uncle.

Advocate Ghulam Mustafa, representing the girls, vehemently refuted the father's claims of kidnapping, stating that the sisters had fled willingly to seek refuge with their mother. One of the sisters revealed that the abuse and mistreatment had begun when she was just 10 years old, perpetrated by her father and uncles.

This heart-wrenching case sheds light on the urgent need for safeguarding vulnerable individuals from such heinous crimes and ensuring that perpetrators are held accountable for their actions. As Asma and Hajra continue to seek justice and protection, their courage in speaking out serves as a powerful reminder of the resilience and strength of survivors of abuse.
