In a recent statement, City Police Officer (CPO) Sadiq Ali Dogar of Multan emphasized the importance of ensuring foolproof security measures at churches to prevent any potential incidents. The CPO highlighted that comprehensive security arrangements have been put in place to create a safe environment for the Christian community to practice their religious beliefs.

Key security measures include the installation of walk-through gates at church entrances and the deployment of female police officers to enhance security. Additionally, all Sub-Divisional Police Officers (SDPOs) and Station House Officers (SHOs) are closely monitoring security protocols at churches within their jurisdictions, with the CPO himself overseeing the overall security arrangements.

Furthermore, CPO Dogar instructed police personnel to maintain a high level of vigilance while on duty at churches, emphasizing the importance of identifying and reporting any suspicious individuals or activities in the vicinity of the religious sites.
