Dr. Munawar Hussain has assumed the role of Acting Vice Chancellor at Sir Syed University of Engineering & Technology (SSUET), bringing with him a wealth of experience in administration and management. With a strong background in entrepreneurship, Dr. Hussain is poised to lead the university during this interim period.
Prior to his current position, Dr. Hussain held the position of Director at Sindh Medical Centre and Hilal-e-Ahmer for more than thirty years. He is a respected member of the Managing Committee of Aligarh Muslim University Old Boys Association (AMUOBA) and serves as the Honorary General Secretary at the IDA RIEU Welfare Association.
Dr. Hussain is actively engaged in philanthropic and humanitarian endeavors within the education and health sectors. In his recent meeting with university officials, faculty, and staff, he reiterated his dedication to preserving the institution's esteemed legacy and elevating its standing in the years to come.
