Recently, the Excise police in the Mardan Region made a significant breakthrough by preventing a major drug smuggling operation. The authorities intercepted a car at the Ajab Bagh Check Post on the Nowshera Peshawar GT Road, leading to the apprehension of three individuals involved in drug trafficking.

During the inspection of the vehicle, the Excise police uncovered a substantial amount of narcotics, including 120 kg of hashish and 1000 grams of ice, which hold a high value in the illegal drug market. The three suspects, identified as Sadiq Hayat, Zubair Khan, and Gul Akhatar, were swiftly taken into custody. A case has been registered at the Excise Police Station in the Mardan Region, and the investigation into the matter is currently underway.
