A 14-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly gang-raped in Hyderabad. The Hyderabad police swiftly arrested two suspects, who deceived the victim with a cash offer, leading to the tragic assault. The community must unite to support the victim and prevent such atrocities.

On April 10, a disturbing incident took place in the Samanabad area of Hyderabad, where a 14-year-old mentally challenged girl was allegedly gang-raped. The Hyderabad police have taken swift action by arresting two suspects, Shahid Baloch and Nadeem Baloch, in connection with this heinous crime.

The suspects were produced before the Civil Judge and Judicial Magistrate VI, where the police obtained a 3-day physical remand for further investigation. The FIR regarding this appalling incident was lodged on April 21 based on a complaint filed by the victim's father, Ramzan Lashari.

According to the complaint, the young girl had gone to buy confectionery from a local shop when the accused individuals, Shahid and Nadeem, deceived her by offering cash under the guise of an Eid gift. This deceitful act led to the tragic assault on the vulnerable victim.

SSP Hyderabad, Amjad Ahmed Shaikh, promptly intervened in the case, instructing the local police to register the complaint and apprehend the suspects without delay. The authorities are committed to ensuring that justice is served and that the perpetrators face the full extent of the law for their reprehensible actions.
