Arifwala Police Apprehend Suspects in Transgender Abduction Case

Recently, the Pakpattan police demonstrated swift action in response to a distressing incident involving the abduction and attempted sexual assault of transgender individuals. The victims, on their way back to Chishtian, were ambushed by perpetrators on Tarkhani Road within the Arifwala Police Station limits. The criminals, armed and menacing, forcibly took the victims in their vehicle, robbing them of their belongings before taking them to a secluded area to carry out their despicable intentions. Fortunately, one victim managed to escape and alert the authorities, leading to a rapid response from the Arifwala police.

The Arifwala police wasted no time in launching an investigation and pursuing the culprits. Seven suspects were identified in connection with the crime, and through diligent efforts, four of them have been apprehended. The police continue their relentless efforts to bring the remaining suspects to justice, underscoring the challenges faced by vulnerable communities, especially transgender individuals.
