Kalash community celebrates Chilam Josh festival with cultural fervor

The annual Chilam Josh festival is set to captivate visitors in the picturesque Kalash valleys of Bumburet, Birir, and Rumbur from May 13 to 17. This four-day extravaganza promises a cultural spectacle featuring traditional dances, rhythmic drum beats, and a kaleidoscope of colors.

The festivities kick off with 'Milkday,' where the Kalash people offer libations of milk as a symbolic gesture of gratitude.
