Hundreds of Lahore Development Authority (LDA) employees are gearing up for a sit-in protest as they have not received their salaries for the past three months. The protest is set to take place during Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz's upcoming visit to the LDA office in Johar Town.

The affected workers, mainly from LDA's Engineering Wing, which includes staff working on various projects and sports complexes, are frustrated by the delay in salary disbursement. Around 600 employees are facing financial difficulties due to this issue.

Imtiaz, a work-charge employee, expressed his concerns stating that they have been waiting for their salaries for the last three months. The workers were assured that payments would be processed once the Punjab government releases funds to the LDA.

The situation at LDA highlights the challenges faced by employees when their salaries are delayed. It is crucial for organizations to prioritize timely salary payments to ensure the well-being of their workforce. The upcoming protest serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing such issues promptly to maintain a harmonious work environment.
